Day 10 and I can’t keep calm! Lol! This is Day 10 of my personal ‘Blog every day for 14 days’ challenge and I am so happy I made it this far.
I briefly want to share with you this mix that I have been using for a while now that works well in detangling and moisturising my kinky 4c hair. It can detangle and moisturise my hair at the same time so well.
Here is how you can make yours in simple steps
- Put warm water in a spray bottle. If you don’t have a spray bottle for your natural hair, HERE is why you need to have one.
- Add your favourite leave-in conditioner; preferably one with a thick consistency. Thick products work best in deeply moisturising natural hair.
- Add any oil of your choice.
- Shake well
- Detangle or moisturise your hair with this and thank me later.
Whoops! When it comes to detangling, you’ll be surprised at how this will melt the tangles and make detangling before wash day or combing so easy for you. This is the mix I use before pre-pooing to detangle my hair and it gets the job done!
As regards moisturising your hair with this, I highly recommend using warm water so it will open up your hair cuticles and allow moisture to deeply penetrate and moisturise your hair. This leaves my hair moisturised for 4-5 days straight up! Of course, make sure to sleep with a satin bonnet so the moisture won’t rub off and be lost on your satin pillowcases. Try this and thank me later!
